I still mourn his loss. I'd love to hear him talk about his college and pro career today. Fascinating guy in a lot of ways.

i live directly across the Ohio River from his hometown of Aliquippa, PA.

The biographical sketch of Pistol Pete in Bill Simmons' "The Book of Basketball" is terrific. Nice to get an outside perspective on him.

He shot Walt Frazier's frickin eyes clean out one night in the NBA. The media was talkin shite about how Walt Frazier, who was the best defender in the NBA was going to shut Pete down. Pete made poor Walt a poor victim of circumstance that night,
