It depends on who's there. If the guy they target gets picked before 10 and if no top 7 guy falls to 10, I'd assume they'll look to trade down.

65% chance one way or the other we don't have the 10th pick whether we move up, move back, acquire a player for it, acquire future picks, etc.
As long as we don't sell it for cash, I'll be happy.

50/50 imo
Seems like they'd definitely trade the pick for a young, proven player.
A lot of teams seem to want the pick, also.

Did not know that. Heavy interest in what specific player(s)?

Here's what Monty said today about the 10th pick:
quote:
"A lot of teams are calling for it, like trades,” Williams, the Hornets’ coach, said Friday. “They want to get rid of (or) move a guy who makes a ton of money but he’s a good player, they’d rather start off and get a rookie. The 10th pick gives us some flexibility in that regard.”

99.9% they trade the pick this draft is so deep plus if there is a better offer on the table they will pull the trigger theres alot of good players are on the trading block and we got a lot of cap room and boy it's a good time to be a hornets fan ain't it #1 pick and the other teams in the NBA just begging to get in the lottery the ball is in our court as long as demps doesnt screw up we got it made
