Do you really think Jerry Rice and Reggie White are the two best NFL players ever? Or did you just pick too hall of fame legends that happened to play for more than one team in order to support your argument?

You could easily make the argument for these guys as well, who only played for one team.

Offense
Jim Brown: Browns
Walter Payton: Bears
Tom Brady: Patriots

Defense
Ray Lewis: Ravens
Lawrence Taylor: Giants
Dick Butkus: Bears
Mean Joe Greene: Steelers

How many of the top athletes in each sport went chasing rings in the prime of their careers when they were on top of their respective sport?

Ruth was traded
Gretzky was traded
Jordan won 6 rings with original team before retiring/unretiring twice.
Rice played and won several titles with original team before the 49'ers parted ways and he still wanted to play.

So this thread is really just pointless imo.

The UnknownKnight will be here to say that Jordan is not the GOAT. He believes Kobe is.

With that said:

Kobe: Hornets, Lakers

Lawrence Taylor >>> Reggie White. And LT played his entire career for the Giants.

Edit: Also, Jim Brown's considered by a lot of people to be the greatest football player to ever play the game and he spent his entire career with the Browns.
