Women's basketball and softball gets better coverage. Looks like ESPN has cut way back on carrying games depute now having a ton of channels.

Finding a score is really difficult....this sucks!

It's actually very easy.

That's just not true at all. ESPN didn't touch the softball postseason until the super regionals whereas ESPNU/ESPN2 is carrying 2 baseball regionals in addition to 4 others being on ESPN3.

Again, not true at all.

They have stayed right on schedule showing the Columbia and Tuscon regionals and in between those games they do live look ins to others on ESPNU.

For the third time, not true at all. Look no further than the official NCAA homepage. They have been doing this live bracket for years.

I live in NY, and it can be hard to follow LSU baseball. I just tend to use this thing called the World Wide Web to get scores and other news about the team. It's pretty cool.

Mo Jeaux is right. NY is 100% a Pro Town and college sports is not big news. Only coverage is for basketball of local teams when St. John's is good ot football for big bowls or the NFL draft. With the Internet though, you learn everything right away.

Who, besides a few sec teams, actually gives a shite about college baseball? If I ran ESPN, there is no way I would cover college baseball until they get to Omaha. Why waist airtime on something like college baseball when 10x more people will watch guys play poker or documentary about the U.

If you must use espn to find your scores then it's only 2 clicks off the main page, scroll over the "more sports" tab, click college sports, then click scores at the top. Stay thirsty my friend.

I agree with the coverage. I remember back in the day espn showing lsu vs a&m in the regular season, but this was before espn got MLB contract so am sure that has something to do with it.

Brando was talking about this on his radio show last week. He was talking about his time with ESPN, and he said "he loved it, but if he could change anything it would be college baseball coverage".

Unverse had a rerun of the UK -LSU game from earlier this year instead of a real game! The other games in houston were softball or other regional coverage.

Just be careful what you search for on this "World Wide Web". There are some dirty, dirty sites. For example, if you search for info on last night's game using the keywords "Beavers Pounded" you probably won't get baseball results.

It's almost perfect. I can get scores easily on the web or through my twitter feed, watch games of national interest on the worldwide leader, and then I don't have to hear talking heads blather their stupidity about it.

I'd prefer a few more games on TV (and boy, does the Big Ten Network botch their coverage by not showing the other games in the Purdue regional), but all in all, this is about the level I like my sports to be covered. Just popular enough to be on TV yet not so popular that Skip Bayless will talk about it.

This. Our passion for college baseball here is the exception, not the rule.

If ESPN got good ratings for college baseball they'd show it more, bottom line. Instead they'll run poker and soccer which actually get better ratings. They are a national brand not a regional one.

They've tried over the years. I can remember them showing an LSU/Mississippi State regular season game back when State had Palmeiro and Clark @'85, and they've given it a few tries since. There's just not enough interest.

go to the ncaa website and bookmark their scoreboard .. that problem is solved ..

ratings for college baseball nationally are atrocious .. women's college basketball regular season games got higher ratings on ESPN than any of the national championship series games did last year .. it is just a fact .. have you ever noticed ESPN doesn't give college baseball scores in the regular season on SportsCenter ? you might get an occasional top ten play .. but that's it .. the only reason they even cover it during the regionals is just to pimp their super regionals and CWS coverage ...
