no i dont think they do, i read an article that referenced this being the most games jozy has played in a season (pro career) so he was just getting a break. idk about sacha, jurgy seems to not really favor him too much.

With the massive camp roster, it wouldn't surprise me to see Kljestan included later. He's been a regular for a title-winning club. He's always been trick-or-treat with the national team, but he's a fairly versatile player. He can be a DLP (his position at Anderlecht), DM, CAM and in a pinch at wide midfielder.
Good to see Joe Benny Corona in the mix too, he could be a real asset to this squad.

yeah i wouldnt mind seeing him added later. im thinking brek will probably be left off too if there is any truth to the jozy sitting bc of tired legs. i think shea is the definition of tired legs at the moment. should be interesting to see the final round of call ups and then who he cuts from there

I am actually rooting for Adu to make the squad as well.. I do think we see Jozy, and at least one of Herc, Sapong, or Wondo. I don't think they'll leave Shea out.. although I don't want him starting with those tired legs, maybe a super sub role would work though.

Scotland is pretty much England, which means I ll be getting a case of Sam Adams... Loved the WC for that reason.
My Scottish friends would hate you for this. They hate England more than you do.
I loved this quote from Reddit:

For those asking about chandler. The FIFA rules state that after he has represented a country he is allowed to petition for a one time only switch as long as he was eligible for the country he's switching to when he first represented the first country.
If he plays in an official game (major tournament or qualifier) he's never able to switch after that point.
So chandler could petition for his one time switch just as Jermaine Jones did but the other way around. Would be a real dick move.

I think timbo might be getting a little ahead of himself if he thinks his services are needed for die mannschaft

Ives says he doesn't think it's an issue of cold feet but more an issue of his club having a lot of control over his decisions.

I like chandler but we don't need to beg him to stay. I'm tired of doing that. If you don't wanna play for us, good riddance Auf Wiedersehen

Haha no joke
Yes I saw where ives mentioned that, it just confuses me as to why chandler? Doesn't seem like this happens that often... Or perhaps it does, I don't know. I'd rather him be out there, but it's not worth begging this dude over. I say we should never call him up again bc at this point he's just wasting other ppl who will actually be playing in real games' shot to prove themselves.

Who plays opposite of Lahm, Boateng?

Revolving door. Boateng, Howedes, Schmelzer, Aogo, etc
Posted on 5/15/12 at 6:33 pm to joey barton
Well they have a few folks they can run out at LB. boateng is an option but he's naturally CB. They can put schmelzer, lahm, howedes, or Badstuber (naturally cb but I suppose he could fill in in a pinch).
Posted on 5/15/12 at 6:34 pm to Tweezy
Badstuber has done it plenty of times. I wish Alaba was German :/
ETA- chandler isn't good enough on the left to play for Germany. They'd have to put Lahm on the left and I don't think Jogi wants to move him.

Yeah if Alaba would've just been born in Germany and not Vienna I'd have already died from fap overload
