IMO, as long as both parties enter into things on equal terms, it's cool.
The lifestyle isn't for everyone, just as strict, serial monogamy isn't for everyone, just as heterosexuality isn't for everyone.
Now the REAL question is this: Is the OT prepared to have a mature discussion about sex? I doubt it.

well that and because anytime i've met someone or heard of someone in this "lifestyle" they haven't been that attractive to put it nicely.

3 yr gap for one gal. 5 yr gap for another.
One of them (a former girlfriend) cried a little when it was over because although we enjoy the sex, it was apparent that the flame was gone. We thought there would always be something there, even after moving on.

I know some people in the lifestyle, and some of them are very attractive people. You'd be surprised. Not all of them advertise that they're in it. I've found that the people who are the least discreet about it are the less attractive people.

Go to the mall. Most PEOPLE aren't attractive. Also, younger folks in the lifestyle are MUCH more guarded about that info. So, unless youre in, you get a pretty skewed view.
