I think a more intriguing list is the one of 'close' games under Miles...meaning games that literally went down to the final few plays. I compiled one a year or so ago, and it was insane how the 2010 season played out with the Tennessee, Florida, Alabama, Ole Miss, UNC games...

But we have averaged 4 or so games a year that came down to the wire prior to this past season.

I'm comparing Miles' 7 yrs at LSU with Bo Schembechler's first 7 years at Michigan.
Schembechler won 66 games but lost two Roses and an Orange. No National Championships but no 5 loss years like 2008. Miles' record is more impressive to me though.
