Trading up for Sed Ellis the year before cost some picks maybe. I don't really remember.

Chip Vaughn was Payton's Tebucky Jones. Looked like Tarzan...

The difference is Tebucky started for us, Chip was cut in a hurry.

I remember being pumped about Vaughn. Dude had some crazy measurables.

yeah, he makes a strong case there on why the jury is still out on Morestead

Jenkins got hung out to dry with the rest of the secondary last year with a predictable scheme and not much of a pass rush. He had a good rookie year and was just as solid in 2010 when he moved to free safety. It will be interesting to see how he does under Spags.
