Obstructed view seating, lack of climate control and proximity to restaurants/bars probably eliminate this venue from the discussion.

Minute Maid? Seriously?

That place was a joke from Day 1 and ranks at the bottom of Major League Baseball by any poll or ranking you look at

Seriously? Find me a stadium ranking that has it at the bottom. How many games have you been to there?

I'm biased, but I love every stadium in Houston. They're also building a brand new stadium for UH football which will only make them better. If Houston isn't #1 it has to be top 3 or 4.

New York Times has Minute Made 20th. LINK

And here it is at #4 in 'The 5 Worst Ballparks in MLB'. LINK

And here it is on another list of 5 Worst MLB Stadiums. LINK

I totally agree that Phoenix competes - the venues are top notch. How are the locations?

Jobing.com Arena is a great facilty for Hockey right next door to UofP. Unfortunately it is in Glendale and alienates a lot of the population from the East Valley. It took me an hour in rush hour traffic to get there from Scottsdale for both Game 1's and I am much closer than the people in Mesa and Chandler/Gilbert. Pretty much limits me to weekend regular season games simply because of the distance. ETA: A plus is Westgate with a nice bar scene for a pregame beer right outside the stadiums.

Baseball is my favorite sport and I am a diehard D'Backs fan but Chase is meh. It isn't bad but built way too big (love how the Marlins kept it small) so it's half empty and is a step down when the roof is closed (most games).

What specifically would be your complaint w/ Minute Maid?

Concessions?
Architecture?
Sightlines?
Climate control?
Location/parking/access?
Ticket prices?
Too big/too small?

20th does not equal dead last as you said. With the recent ballpark boom there's really only 3 or 4 stadiums in MLB I would consider shitty.

Bleacher Report? DIAF

Fair enough, even though I have no idea who that is and he puts Wrigley on there which is absurd. It is a monument to baseball. He also cites the hill as a main reason why he doesn't like it. And like everyone else, talks about how dangerous it is. In 12 years I can't recall any serious injury on it.

Bleacher report and a random blog, both of which have it ranked low because of very technical reasons such as "the hill in center field is stupid"

Yeah the only time I've been to Phoenix was for the National Championship 2 years ago. The traffic getting to Glendale was bad obviously with all of the people there but I wasn't sure if it was usually that bad. It's too bad they couldn't have built it in Phoenix instead of Glendale. Either way, it's a beautiful stadium

Three "rankings"...one which used yelp comments and has Yankee stadium ranked behind it, one from bleacherreport, and one which has Wrigley Field as one of the five worst MLB stadiums...GTFO with that nonsense.
