And women do not automatically produce an egg in response to either rape or consensual sex. Lubrication has been shown to occur, but that is a protective mechanism, not a sign of desire or arousal.

again, otto, you realize that nothing in your study suggested a biological reaction to the act of rape which made it more likely to become pregnant. NOTHING.

otto, have you ever considered that, by using women looking to hookup on craigslist as a baseline, you have chosen a segment of the population which may in fact have a whole host of fricking psychological issues beyond the need to meet strangers for rough sex?

I don't think you're getting it.
You're going for a long walk off the pier without even bothering to see if the numbers support your argument.
The pregnancy rate for rape victims is completely and totally meaningless without knowing what the pregnancy rate is for consensual unprotected sex.
If you want anyone to engage in a serious conversation about this, YOU need to address that glaring hole in your hypothesis.

and, while he's at, maybe consider the possibility that women looking on CL for rough sex as strangers might have more going on in their heads than just a primal need to get knocked up. Like maybe a primal need for a better daddy. just a thought.

Now, as for the topic at hand.
Rape does not cause the release of a female ovum. Sex, itself, does not cause the release of a female ovum.
It is a time-related event, hence the female Menstrual Cycle.

It is a psychologic issue. Just as some individuals can only orgasm in response to certain "stimulations" (i.e. dominance, submission, etc.), this is all related to the individuals psychologic makeup and what "turns them on."
