I did a touch and go there once, on my first crosscountry (NEW to BTR to NEW), and I felt bad, because I came in so slow, and they had three commercial jets waiting for me to touch and go a 172.

We get B52's and C130's here in Shreveport all the time. For a long time we would get A10's.

The F22 Raptors were doing touch and go's right over my office at Dobbins AFB and it was extremely loud and pretty freaking amazing sight.
You get that "don't frick with  feeling".

It is a National Guard c-130 and has been doing extreme low altitude,short approach touch and go's for the last week,every day.
It is indeed cool.

They do them all the time here on the coast b/c of Kessler. Really cool when the A-C130 gunships come though. Also, some fighter jets come around once a month. Pretty cool when your running on the beach the frickers are coming in to land, loud as hell. I think they are F16s..
