I've been reading his site for a dozen years or better and always enjoyed it, especially come high school playoff time and his yearly ranking of the best players in the state. I also appreciated his always optimistic but honest take on LSU football, basketball, and baseball
Prayers for his family who I'm sure will miss him terribly.
But the Danderoo himself is where he knew he always wanted to be.

He is in a better place and reunited with the love of his life, Joy.
God speed, Dandy Don.

Countless mornings I started my day catching up on LSU news at DandyDon.Com.
That was the first time I ever set up a favorite in my browser. Gosh, his blog last Christmas said that he would not see another Christmas.
A great man. Not only his passion for LSU in everyday news, but his knowledge of LSU history and stories as well.

I hate to keep repeating what so many have already said, but Dandy Don's site was the first LSU site I started reading, and always started my mornings with a cup of coffee and Dandy Don. Tiger nation has lost a great friend and advocate. His love of LSU was second to none. R I P, Dandy Don.

All though there were times that some if not all of us didn't agree with his take on things, i challenge anyone to find a more dedicated and faithful tiger than mr. don. prayers go out to his family as he will be missed. we should all continue to view dd to keep his memory alive. RIP Dandy.

Dandy Don's spirit will live on as a part of LSU forever!
I will miss the stories of his childhood that he told on holidays.
Rest In Peace Dandy Don

I have been a DD fan and reader since he started. He was the first and only LSU site for information period. He did it because he loved it, loved LSU and Louisiana. WE loved him and his site for it. All the new 7 or 8 LSU sites came later and Dandy Don was the first and I read his first, first on my favorites. May he rest in peace with his late wife and may his son continue the good family site. Thanks for the years and please continue.David Ginn, former Senator La. 80-88.
