I generally agree with this, but it is very hard to find good used trucks and when you do they are asking top dollar. Trucks have been holding re-sale value very well.
I will go ahead and say most vehicles seem to be trending like this.

Yeah, they are. It just seems to be much hard to find a good used truck, meaning less than 4 years old with average to low miles in great shape.
Good used cars are easy to find. Prices are high though, I agree.

Well got a new truck. They stayed firm on their price but I got them to add the chrome package and a few other things.
It has the 5.3 flex fuel in it which brings me to another question...
Is there any government rebate available for the flex fuel? I tried searching for it but came up with nothing

Did they use the old line " these trucks aren't for everyone" to make your sense of pride kick in?
Congratulations on your purchase.

Not sure if serious.

I read WC's notes and bought a Tundra yesterday. The salesman seemed pretty disappointed I didn't tell him I was going to trade in my truck until after we settled on the price.

Sorry to bump the thread but where did you buy your tundra and for how much?
It is crew cab? 4x4?
