So, I was just shopping for some new Nike gear and realized that the Saints team shop is charging $9 more for Nike dry-fit shirts compared to nflshop.com.
Team Shop Prices:
39.00 for Dri-fit
36.00 for Property of N.O. Saints cotton tee
NFL Shop Prices:
29.99 for Dri fit
27.99 for property of N.O. Saints cotton tee
What's the deal with the big price difference?

I'm not sure exactly how it would work out, but any company that does a teams official merchandise has to pay the nfl some extreme amount of the profits. like 80%.
I don't know how that works with nfl shop.

What about shipping? I'm sure you have to pay for shipping if you order from NFL shop.
It may be overpriced with shipping even added in. In their location they know it is convenient for games and people will probably pay the prices for that convenience.

Shipping from NFL Shop was $5 for standard shipping. So, shipping is definitely not worth the price difference or convenience factor, for me anyways. I was looking online and I'm sure those prices at the Saints Team Shop reflect what's actually in the store, which is still BS in my opinion.

Again, blame the nfl itself. Not the team.

I'm not blaming anyone, just wondering why the drastic price difference.

I'm just guessing.
1. The NFL Shop provides their own merchandise.
2. They offer a product that appeals to fans of all 32 teams.

Team store, I think, sells everything at MSRP.
And yes, they are very high.

Everything's expensive right now. Even at Walmart, the cheapest place to buy groceries, a gallon of orange juice is $7
