I am fine with exploring a Religion & Philosophy Board
Wowzer!
I have long talked about my desire for a Religion/Philosophy/Science/Technology Board.
As for the guidelines, I think you can let pretty much anything go for the philosophy & science parts, but you have to draw some dividing lines for the religion & technology parts, because you definitely don't want all religious-themed or technology-themed subjects on this potential new board.
For example, prayer requests and anecdotal stories of the day would not belong on this board. Thoughts on the history of religion or on current ecumenical developments would belong.
Also, technology topics regarding particle colliders or Hubble telescopes or brain-computer interface devices might belong on this board. Talk about what you can do with your new iPhone or TiVo device would not belong on this board.
I'll probably have more thoughts on this later when I've had a chance to read this whole thread, but I gotta go for now...

I think its important to keep civil discussions on the religion board if we are going to have one. If threads turn into mud this board won't last.
