FBD: Austin Beerworks Fire Eagle IPA.

picked up a six pack of this and the peacemaker EPA while in Austin this weekend. first time trying anything from this brewery.

solid IPA. decently hopped but not over the top; makes for a very drinkable beer.

haven't tried that particular one but I did pick up two six packs of Rahr and Sons this weekend: Ugly Pug black lager and the Stormcloud IPA.

Ugly pug is great, but Stormcloud is fairly mediocre, though I think the six pack I had was fairly old

SBD & TBD were Abita Strawberry while hanging by the pool watching the kiddos play.

4BD is a Three Floyds Zombie Dust. Wow, it's called a pale ale, but it's hoppy. Really hoppy.

Id call it a brown ipa (indian brown ale). I was trying for a black ipa.

Yea, it was good. It was hoppy yet had a nice roasted/smoky component like a porter.
