There could be drug usage. Just saying.

Well, unless someone can resurrect D. Boon & Bob Stinson and get Jay Farrar and Jeff Tweedy talking, this will never happen...

Small Venue, let's say Mississippi Studios in Portland, Oregon

Uncle Tupelo
The Replacements
The Minutemen (play Double Nickels on the Dime in it's entirety)

Do it econo! nice tight sets, I aint got all night...

Uncle Tupelo is the easy one. He needs a way to figure out how to raise the dead for the other two.

I guess, I could settle for a Slim Dunlap era 'Mats... but it just aint the same with out Bob's guitar...

And frick it, let ed fROMOHIO fill in for D. Boon, at that point it would be fIREHOSE, but it'd be a great show...

Yeah. Not as good. It's odd. I love the Hold Steady, but Lifter Puller feels kind of flat for me. It's like Drives Like Jehre and the Obits... love the Obits, not a huge fan of his prior band. Who knew?

Or, I could go in a totally different direction and have Tom Waits to two sets in some lounge-y piano bar...

Venue: Doesn't matter as long as it's big enough for me, my friends, and a few hundred fans. It MUST have good sound and the ability to accomodate the artists FULL stage setup and equipment.
Opener: Scott H. Biram
Middle: Sleigh Bells
Headliner: Flaming Lips
Late Night: Amon Tobin
