Probably manslaughter. They had to charge him with something to prevent uncivil unrest.

He can't.
A high-profile and very charged case like this would normally get a change of venue, but Obama making it a national issue pretty much scraps that as a possibility.
If the venue is changed, I expect the Martin family to scream from the rooftops about how Zimmerman's representatives have used their challenges on all the black potential jurors.
