Boy or boy is Aaron Vice in for a rude awakening when he finds out after telling his players one of the reasons he is leaving them for another job is "it's the big time", "5A football at Alexandria Sr. High School".

Alexandria High is 4A. Should have just stuck with retirement, certification and the fact that RSH football is dead.

“At the end of the day, it was about getting to a public school with retirement, certification and better pay,” said Vice, who accepted the job Monday and told his players Tuesday. “It’s big-time (Class 5A) football.”

Another side note. Aaron is a good football Coach.

I read the quote in the Advocate, and to be fair, I'm not sure he actually said 5A. Perhaps the Advocate added in 5A because it's not part of the quote.

quote:

“It’s big-time (Class 5A) football.”

alexandria hasn't been too good since they had that running back that went to OU (can't remember his name... brown i think?) and adam roy as their QB

ASH has always been really, really good at powerlifting. With the right coach, they might be a sleeping giant.

Next year isn't a reclassification year. So 2013? They'll be in West Monroe's district. Good luck.

Outside of Peabody in basketball, is CENLA good at anything?

meh. Several other better coaches in the BR area. He's obviously not dumb though, jumping off the sinking ship that is Redemptorist.

Losing 5 star Collins and 4 star Hill would hurt any team.

ASH isn't beating Ruston and Ouachita either! Stick with beating teams like Grant, Tioga, Bolton, and Peabody!
