I don't hunt anymore. I just spotlight a couple of deer every summer when the game wardens aren't in the woods. Quick shot to the head, so as not to mess up the meat

My point is exactly what I said.
You said cavemen would use every advantage to kill animals. I said that's because their lives depended on it.
I am not agreeing with the OP. I don't care how other people hunt as long as the kill is ethical. I just choose to make it more challenging than some. That said, I'm not opposed to hunting food plots.

I have not hunted over bait or food plots in 5+ years and mainly bowhunt on public land. I prefer it this way because I enjoy scouting and picking out their travel spots deep in the woods/swamps and trying to outsmart them. If you have ever hunted deer, you will know that they can catch on to you pretty quick.
I have no problems shooting deer in a food plot. With that said when I hunted over food plots, I barely ever saw deer in food plots during the day. Even baiting does not guarantee you a shot at a deer.

Man, I feel like we've met before. I know a Jason L that was born in 1979 but was from Simmesport/Plaucheville area. Hunts alligators and everything. Wonder if I might be on to something?

Nope, I grew up in Plaquemines parish. I do alligator hunt and was born in 1979 though.
