it seems like people have been hating on the songs most often played at their parties...my OP was meant to single out the song YOU or your close cirlce of friends played. Of course you dont always throw the party, but i would think you and your "good timin drinking buddies" shared the same taste? no?
Did anyone actually like the music during their partys days?

After thinking about this more probably the # 1 all time house party song from my era would be the Humpty Dance, although if you included bar/club scene in High School/College I would have to say some Dj Jubilee song that I don't even know the name of just the words and some of the dance moves.

I can't really pick one song. My "party years" were from about 1983-1993 (High School up to marriage--
)
And I'll be honest, we had some of the most awesome club, dance, and party music that none of it really sticks out. Everybody played the same stuff.
But I guess if you put a gun to my head, I'd say 1990, MC Hammer's "U Can't Touch This". It was EVERYWHERE

growing up in the 80s, probably the Beastie boys first LP was played the most at parties...

Good one. And they still are played at my parties 20 years later. Old and new tracks.
