I guess debatable might not be the right word. I just thought the top 3 teams last year were in a competition to see who could try hardest not to win it. United backed into it because they tried to lose it just slightly less than the others.
I guess my point is, this year's United team "deserves" the title much more than last year's.

When it comes to the Prem I can assure you that we never try to lose. Mickey Mouse competitions like the Carling Cup and the Europa Cup are a totally different matter.

I was obviously not being literal. Of course you don't try. It's just a figure of speech meaning you guys shat the bed during the season slightly less than everyone else did. You still did your fair share of it though.

Not really. Last year there were many dogs in the fight up until the last 2 or 3 weeks. The cards just fell in your favor as Chelsea and especially Arsenal completely imploded.
