Ping G15 Driver

Down to $200 at Dick's and I have a coupon. I wouldn't normally buy some clubs from Dick's but I can get $40 off. Anybody use it and give me a heads up? I have the irons and hybrid...kind of want to put the driver in the bag, plus my current driver cracked the other day.

Tm and titleist are 1a and 1b in drivers IMO
But if you are brand loyal, it's a good club

Very good driver, the year it came out it was the best driver available. It is a good balance of accuracy(something Taylormade has forgot about) and distance. It isn't flashy but it is a great driver.

Hey now, Dick's had a brand new set of Taylermade Burner 2.0 irons for sale for $350, when originally they were $700. Thats a deal no matter which way you slice it. And you can always get them fitted by a professional somewhere else if you got the money.

What shaft and loft you guys have? Thinking about the 9 degree with TFC, but my hybrid has the aldila shaft.

I play a Titlest 905R 9 degree driver with a Graphite Design YS-6 stiff shaft. Best driver I've ever hit.
One of my golfing buddies plays the Ping driver you mentioned. He seems pleased with it.
One word of caution about buying a driver. The shaft is just as important as the club head. If the shaft is crap, $200 is not a bargain. Make sure the driver comes with a top notch shaft.

We had a Titleist Demo Tuesday. The "best I can do for you" with the Titleist was ball speed of 155 with 2900 spin. My Callaway Diablo Octane was 171-178 with 2700 spin.

I play the Titleist 910D3 and love it, but the D2 is just as good (just not for me). I hit the Calloway RAZRfit the other day and Damn is it long! I'm pretty much all Titleist but that driver opened my eyes!

I play the R11 with the TP RIP shaft,i love it much more than the R11s,i'm not big on the 460cc head the R11s has....

Just picked up the Razr Fit with a UST Proforce V2 and I love it. Its gotten my spin down to 2700.
