Bubba definitely prove me wrong today, I didn't think he had the game to win at Augusta, hats off to him.

And to everyone else, it's been a great week for golf fans, can't wait for next year!

The US Open at Olympic is a couple of months away.

True but as Mr. Jim Nantz likes to say, "The Masters, a tournament unlike any other."

ETA: Watching the Golf Channel, I didn't realize as bad as Tiger played, he never had a double bogey all week.

His tee to green this week was as bad as it's been since he first returned from his layoff. I figured it would be the putting that let him down this week, but it was pretty much the opposite, he just couldn't get the ball on the damn green

Bubba wants to get home to his wife and infant son, but he's got to hang around AN and have dinner with Billy Payne and other green jackets. I hope he maintains his civility.

I'm tempted to say Bubba can't contend at a tough US open set-up but after this week I don't think I can make that assumption.

Yep, on to Fathers day weekend. Nothing like major championship golf.

Bubba's likely menu for the Champion's dinner next year...

Fried chicken
Tater salad
Bannana pudding
Sweet Tea

Just a guess.

I thought the greens would kill Bubba at augusta. He just hits it so dam close.

I think the problem for Bubba at the open is the rough. If he misses the fairway it will hurt him more there than at Augusta.

I don't know if this was ever mentioned but Mardy Fish tweeted this talking about the guy that got hit with the golf ball
quote:

I just found out that the guy that got hit by the golf ball at the Masters was my buddy. His name is Nathan Overholser

quote:

FYI, he is fine. Said he laid there for a while and Phil came over and gave him a glove. Hansen was the one that hit him though...

Cool as hell. I am just glad someone I give a crap about won. No offense to Charl or Ooustheizen. I am sure they are nice guys. Keegan Bradley too with his spitting cock-eyed arse.

I was just excited to sit on my couch ALL AFTERNOON and watch some good golf. And not have it ruined by Angel Cabrerra.
