I finally got around to watching this movie. It was on deep cable last night. Pretty good, but less good than what I had been led to believe.
Question: Is Mark Zuckerberg as big of a sociopath as the movie makes him out to be? Total a-hole. Brilliant, but completely unredeemable, backstabbing douche. Is that an accurate portrayal?

I was pretty underwhelmed as well.

I loved it.
Don't know the answer to your question though.

SPOILERS below:
Did the movie makers get you to feel sympathy for Zuckerberg at the very end? All lonely and despondent while clicking for an update on his ex-girlfiend's facebook page? I felt no sympathy for him.
The junior lawyer's comment was overly kind to him, "You're not an a-hole, you're just trying hard to be one."
No, he's an a-hole.

what about Sean Parker? he seemed like the bigger dick to me. he totally screwed Eduardo.
Think Parker was using FB just to get back at "the man"?

No. It would take quite a bit for me to feel sympathy for any billionaire regardless of what happened to them.

I thought it was pretty good.

I enjoyed the movie.
Like most billionaires, he screwed over several people to get there.

I really enjoyed the movie and thought the score was terrific. I was under the impression that Zuckerberg is every bit the a-hole that the movie made him out to be.

Idk, its a bit biased since it was based on a book written by the guy that got screwed over

everyone needs to remember when you are talking about the guy that got "screwed over"...he gave them a couple tens of thousands to start the website, and now he is worth 2.5 billion. i would consider that a pretty good return. could he be worth more? yes. but not screwed. the guys that got screwed were the brothers that had the idea and came to zuckerdick for help. they should be pissed they got ~100 million, not nearly enough for the guys that had the concept to begin with.
also, I think that Mark Zukerberg(?) is a total and complete a-hole. it makes me mad that that douche bag is worth 20 billion or whatever it is now.

the girlfriend angle(Rooney Mara) is 100% fictitious from what I have read.
