High Expectations and Good Money

It seems that this board has turned into a mad jury pool about LSU coaches. We have high expectations and we pay our coaches good money. I agree with both of these.
My questions for the rant is:
Do you win "championships" in your job/ education every year?
If not then sit down and take your seat in the stands. We have a great university and great athletics but things arent built overnight nor does the environment we all opperate within professionally stay the same from year to year. Students...hard work does pay off and you won't get fired every year...unless you work for the rant. Enjoy the season...let things play out and trust our staff to make the right internal decision.

2000-2009 really spoiled a bunch of folks, as did Bertman's run in the 90s.

If I am paid championship money, you bet your arse they expect me to hit a home run every time.
I will put it this way, the folks who pay my wages don't tolerate many "losses" and I am not paid elite money.

I'm sorry, is just MAKING the postseason too much to ask for? We are LSU...our basketball and especially baseball team should be there every single year, even if they just get bounced in the first round.
It's no coincidence that this decline has come since Alleva was hired. He was a bad hire then, and needs to be replaced now

Good points except Skip Bertman as AD was the first mistake. He didn't pay Pat Henry, he cut a deal with smoke, and he brought in van and pm.

You should be fired...at least by the standards of the rant. There are plenty of coaches out there that don't make crap and win. Some don't get paid and don't win and they do get fired.
