Under, Les will not give him enough chances, because we are loaded in Receivers even though they are young.

I think his 2012 production will get him over 650 yards for his career! needs 172 more!!!

HE CAN DO IT!!!

I'm going with OVER.

It's been a long time since LSU had a QB who new how to use his weapons. And Shep is too dynamic not to get the ball in his hands.

Plus, he still has plenty of time to polish his receiving skills.

I think his highlights speak for themselves.

Even though I have to admit there are very few of them.

Shep's freshman highlights

Jet sweep vs UNC

Lee to Shep vs Auburn 2011

Shep highlights are all of his running ability with the ball in his hands. Not catching or going up for a ball. He's dynamic with the way he can move with the ball, but as a receiver I don't see him catching 650 yards worth of passes.

And I disagree that he has plenty of time to polish his receiving skills. He's got spring and fall practices, and this will be his 3rd full year working w the WR.

I really hope they find some way to utilize his incredible talent besides trying to make him into a downfield receiver

I say under and hope I'm wrong. 42 catches for 575 yards. I think OBJ, Landry and possibly Boone catch more balls than RS. Could be as many as 5 guys with 30 or more grabs which would be a pleasant change.

Easily under. They haven't gotten him involved in the offense like they should have his entire LSU career. They aren't gonna start now.

With the O-line blocking just feed him sweeps. I was so excited thought he was going to be the next Percy

Shep better be over 650 yards and lots of td's or else his draft stock will be way down.Like way the frick down in the never drafted area.

I think it all depends on QB protection. If Mett has enough time for Shep (or any other receiver) to get in a couple of moves, then we can complete a lot of long passes for a lot of yards.

And of course you have to have a running game to keep the DBs and LBs in place.

And of course you have to have a good defense so that the offense can spend a lot more time on the field.
