Peyton Manning, Matt Flynn or someone else? Maybe it's a blessing in disguise. Will free up alot of room under the salary cap. Now we can shore up the defense. Get some bigtime studs for the Defense. Sign Randy Moss. Dallas fricking Clark. Resign Nicks. Resign Colston. Make another run at the Superbowl. Can't blame Brees for wanting to raise his kids in a more suitable environment. Thanks for the years here

not reallly. I don't come to this board much and wanted to find out what the word was on how others felt we should go about the situation. I don't like to use the search function.

So the fact that we have breed for one more year is not valuable information to you.

If he doesn't want to be here and is livid about the situation, then it would be better to let him go. Considering all he has done for the saints organization, the fans, and the city of New Orleans, I don't think it's fair to him to force him to stay if his heart isn't in it.

Maybe we can get your boy JJ to throw it at the receivers' feet.

or maybe my boy Flynn to toss it up to Moss, Colston, and Grahm behind an all pro o-line with Thomas, Ivery, and Sproles coming out of the backfield. A long with money to shore up the Defense.

All that came with a solid supporting cast. One player, no matter how good he is, can do it by himself. Even Peyton Manning, the greatest QB of all time, couldn't do it at Indianpolis except for the one year that they were somehow able to put together a good defense for that one year.

Well thats a stretch. I seem to remember some QB, with similarly impressive records (some of them tied) and the same amount of rings, outplaying him in the Superbowl. Now who could that be?

Drew Brees is loyal to the Saints, fans, and the city of New Orleans. But he is also a family man and baby boy # 3 is on the way. Family comes first.
