besides Rocky & Carlo's the only place I've ever eaten at in Chalmette was China Moon and it was pretty damn good.

Besides eating the local places with other people I pretty much stick to munchies if I'm picking. taco/burrito bar. Fresh stuff and cheap prices.

Charlie's is going to be a good ways away.

Tony's is about as close as you're going to get food-wise to Rocky's.

Kind of surprises me to see you say that tbh. Only been there once and thought it was ok. Thought the lo mein was mediocre.

Cheesey potato casserole + bread pudding as your sides (I usually get the chicken)

Had that the other day. Not too bad really. The ribs were dry/tough but the chicken was good.

I wonder if that's why I always get the chicken? The first time I got ribs/brisket/chicken and ever since it has been chicken.
