I was walking back to my truck after class and noticed they were drilling soil samples on the South Endzone side of the stadium.

Has it ever been said if the expansion would take up any current seating?

I'm selfish .. we sit up there near the top. Hoping we're not having to move.

Does anyone think they will sell 10,000 more tickets? If that is the amount added. Where in the hell would they park?

There's over 120,000 people on campus on a normal game day. Adding 10k more seats doesn't necessarily mean you need to add more parking.

I think they would sell them.If they did expand I would lower prices in some of the not so great seats. It would give everyone a chance to attend the games. If they made some of the bad seats $50 that would give all family a chance to enjoy the games. When I was a kid we had all types of people with season tickets by ours. Now its just wealthy people. We pay $1500 a seat. Not many people can afford that.

I have a feeling this administration is going to be disappointed when this is finished to see the amount of empty seats.

They will sell all the tickets. Demand isn't an issue. Whether or not there are seats filled in the 4th quarter of a crappy game is not their concern. It is about revenue and recruiting. I for one am all for it. If they weren't going to build it they wouldn't have torn down the old upper deck in the first place. Whats not to like about Tiger Stadium being the biggest and best it can be. People who like to bitch will bitch about it.Those of us who love Saturdays in tiger stadium will rejoice.

I sincerely doubt that a larger stadium will mean more people on campus Trout. There are an insane amount of people outside the stadium during any given game anyways. This will not draw 10,000 more people to campus.

And if it does, I'm pretty sure they will walk from wherever they have to just like the rest of us do.

it will fill for pretty much all the sec games and big out of conference games.

i think they should make these the low cost value seats, no fees, just the price of the tickets which should be the lowest prices in the stadium. the revenue from the seats will totally make up for the lack of taf/tradition fees.
