How did JerseyTiger disappear?

I had a thread that he started in my bookmarks, but now it shows that it was started by Tiger JJ (new username obviously) with a post count in the 500's rather than 50,000's.
Also, JerseyTiger no longer appears on the member. Anyone want to offer an explanation? He is and/or was one of the best posters on this board.
