It looks like they'll have a rather nice patio area. Don't know if it'll be covered or not, but it should be good for parties when the weather is decent.

Tulane, what's good at Muriel's? Shrimp po-boy and RB po-boy any good?

I've only had their filet and grilled fresh fish (I believe it was grouper). Both were really good. Haven't had any po-boys there. Actually didn't know they serve them.

Shrimp/goat cheese crepes are the go to thing on the menu for many.

That's really the only memorable thing for me at Muriel's.

Dungeon, bring your own food. A great place for a party.

And that item can be had at several locations since Chef Guy has been moving around trying to find a place to call home.

I've only been to Muriel's for parties/events but the food is great and the atmosphere is amazing, not to mention the location. I can definitely see it being a good place for a bday

If it were open, it would get Chuck's spot. Go carts, batting cages, theater, putt putt, and water boats. Are you kidding me? How did that place ever close down?
