There is absolutely no reason to make a sequel of Taken. The story is over.

Oh I understand why it will be made. It will make money, and it is a comparatively low budget film when put against other action flicks. Plus, Liam Neeson is riding high right now.
That said, I just don't see the point in continuing the story. It's about as contrived as the multiple Die Hard sequels. Hans had a brother!
So is the title of the sequel going to be "Raped"?

Hell yea. Liam Neeson gets to destroy more countries? I'm in. Taken was a hell of a movie. Everything I wanted to happen and him to do to people, happened.

Question about the first one. Not sure if it's a different version, ie theatrical, unrated, extended, etc, but I could've sworn the first time I saw it Neeson stabbed spikes into the legs of the guy he electrocuted. But I haven't seen that version since. Am I making things up?
