Gumbo safety

How long would you trust a refrigerated chicken and sausage gumbo?

I've left gumbo in the fridge for 6-7 days and it was always fine. I keep my fridge right at freezing though. Things last a lot longer.
I also don't have the food poisoning fear. Guess its because I've never been burned.

Several days in the fridge is ok. The key is bring it to a boil then quickly cutting it off to kill any possible bacteria. Freezing any unused portion is preferrable.

I'll give it 10 days. When I reheat it I bring it to a boil though
