When we did have the true 2 qb system where JJ would come in for lee to do some running, option plays, the offense did look pretty good. When we went away from the 2 qb system, the offense began to sputter. I would have liked the lee starting, JJ coming in for spot duty. But no use in continuing to cry about it now. It's over and done with. They are gone. Hopefully mett rallies the troops and we light some people up next season.

Lee was very classy in his interview.

That kid will be successful in anything he does with the way he has handled adversity throughout his time at LSU. Best of luck Jarrett Lee but I don't think you'll need it.

Thanks Jarrett. You are a class act. I think you were screwed. I have standing.

This is just player speak. Its showing he is a professional and just will continue on to having a shot at the NFL. Plus if he wants he could still get a degree and persue other opportunities.

Too bad some fans can't learn from the kid.

that's because some fans are crumby people not worthy of even speaking with Lee.

if Lee comes out now and totally pisses on the coaching staff he'll do several things to harm his life, not the least of which is lose any fleeting interest the NFL may have in him, as well as harm his ties to the program which is giving him his degree.

He only stands to win by being the bigger man. This thread shows the loyalty this fan base now has to him. At one point, he was a failure in many people's eyes, and the possibility of what could have been has given his career a closure shaped in redemption.

so, in essence, he's a lair too.......nice

Lee is a class act and we were very lucky to have had him as a Tiger. Good Bless Jared Lee and I hope he does well in life and hope he does well in the All Star Game.

High character player; wish him well in life

Anyone that uses the good Lee threads to trash Jefferson is a piece of garbage

This is the difference between Lee versus Miles and JJ. He has class and is a team player unlike the other two. He never let his ego get the best of him unlike the other two.

Unfortunately, despite everyone thinking Les is some great guy (many people IRL say he's a complete prick), he's a jerk for how he treated a team player like Lee who even after all of this has shown nothing but respect to a coach that doesn't deserve it.

If you say so. Les and Lee are two different ppl. We're not talking about Les. I was speaking to the character of Lee and that is all.

Show me where I said he was a lair. I think Les has taken the high road in many situations since he's been at LSU. I just think some of the players deserved better. It's my opinion.
