Has it occurred to ANY of you that Miles CONTRIBUTED to JL's failure on 11/5?

I mean, with the benefit of seeing how the season played out, I think you can be pretty much 100% certain that JL knew Miles would bench his arse at the drop of a hat. It has got to be an awesome help to the QB when he is playing knowing that his leash is about 2 inches long.

WE may not have known that at the time but JL deals with Miles every day. Surely HE knew that Miles was ready to go to JJ on a moment's notice. The way the season played out pretty much proves this.

So, when people talk about how bad JL was on 11/5, maybe they should keep in mind that it is VERY well known that having your QB looking over his shoulder rarely contributes to success.

Has it occurred to you that maybe Bama's great defense contributed to JL's failure on 11/5?

Then why didn't he start sucking against Kentucky?

The second string QB was in jeopardy of losing the starting job when the starting QB came back from injury/suspension, etc.

GASP...You have cracked the code.

Have thought this for quite some time. Watch the game again and it almost appears that les and the staff purposely set him up for failure to bring in JJ. He plays well till JJ is reinstated, lee throws one pick and instead of keeping his confidence up we pull him then let him back in in the 3rd qtr and the very first play is a throw? Not what you do... I hate the fact that miles talks about the 2 QB system and each one contributes and he doesn't play lee after numerous mistakes by JJ. It's a spit in lees face and to the tiger fans

From the moment JJ was reinstated, he stated he wanted his starting job back. His playing time increased with every game, and JL knew his time was growing short. It all came to a head on 11/5, and Lee know it was over.

As someone stated, it's difficult to remain confident when you know no matter what you do the other guy is going to take your job.

Has it occurred to you that no less than 100 threads have been made about Jarrett Lee? And that you just started another one?

It was crystal clear to me as I was watching that game that this was the case.

Miles admitted to phasing JL out by giving JJ most of the reps. to get him up to speed. We all knew that Les was going to do it. He gave Krags direct orders when hired to make JJ better. Les hated the thought of Lee being the QB. He wants to be the the reincarnate of Bo. Rough and tough, just run the other team in the ground. Well the last three years the offense has passed the ball Les and Les. Didn't matter who the coordinator is. Les imposed his will. Alabama is to tough to just line up and run the ball. The wide receivers are pissed. His stubbornness was ok because he kept winning. Saban knew he would not change his game plan and just sat back and laughed his way to the championship. I would love to hear what Stud and Krags would say if given a free leash.
