He's a radio commentator, on the most powerful station on the LSU radio network. Commentators make comments.

now he is about to be on College Football on ESPN all day ESPN.
To those who don't want to see it the media effects this game these kids are playing first off with recruiting

The Herd will interview Bobby Hebert about Les @ 11:05 Recap of 1993 Saints playoff game vs. the Eagles The two teams exchanged field goals in the third quarter, and the score was 20-10, New Orleans, going into the final period. With less than 11 minutes left in the game, Cunningham connected with wide receiver Fred Barnett for a 35-yard touchdown completion. Then on the first play of the Saints' next possession, Eagles linebacker Seth Joyner intercepted a pass to set up running back Heath Sherman's 6-yard touchdown, giving Philadelphia the lead, 24-20. After New Orleans got the ball back, Eagles defensive lineman Reggie White sacked Hebert in the end zone for a safety. Philadelphia kicker Roger Ruzek then added a 39-yard field goal, and 19 seconds later, defensive back Eric Allen intercepted Hebert and returned it 18 yards for a touchdown. Great job, Bobby.
I was there.

So we have Bobby and his band of drunk idiots in this thread hoping we go back to the days of Curley Hallman and Mike Archer.

Hebert trashed out program big time, not just Miles and basically sought to erode general support. He's salting the earth. That doesn't help.
Let's look at Hebert for second: he's a Saints/New Orleans media guy with a likely disgruntled ex-player for a son. His best interest is to garner attention and notoriety for ratings and probably let off a little steam regarding his kid. None of that translates into giving a shite about making LSU better.
He may have some points but don't appoint him as some messenger of the fans who just had to say something. He doesn't' give a shite about the future like I assume we all do.
I'm pissed too, real pissed, but this kind of behavior only hurts us.

Hearing a "progam insider" as he is being presented to those outside of LA who don't know who Bobby Hebert is, say what he does will not doing anything positive for the progam in the future.
While some of it has merit--that's not the issue-- this is not helpful moving forward. there is nothign admirable about his actions.

He doesn't. He's not a 'journalist'. He's a color analyst, and a talk show host, paid to critique and give his honest opinion. You calling Bobby a 'journalist' is the equivalent of making Cowherd or Finebaum a journalist. Now Guilbeau, there's a journalist.
You magnificent son of a bitch.

hebert tells it like it is. it hurt but he speaks the truth.

During the bowl practices, I see Bonnette up Miles' tail the entire time that press was allowed.. What is the deal with Bonnette alwyas being up his arse ??

But but he's the founding father of the Who Dat and apparently Tiger Nation. He speaks for everyone in Louisiana in his mind.

gotta be only way i see it. We are all upset with the game Monday, but to completely want to erode the foundation of our program, these kind of fans do more harm than good

Go to WWL's facebook page and let them know you are not happy with Bobby H acting like this on ESPN.
Posted on 1/11/12 at 3:41 pm to Jim Rockford
quote:Sound like you're the ignorant one, Bobby Hebert said what Tiger fans have been feeling about Miles for years now, we just brushed it under the rug this year because of their dominance this year, and to finish miserably like that, not being in the game at all speaks a lot about Miles, he should have had this team fired up and ready to go.
A large proportion of our fanbase is too ignorant to realize this.
Instead all of them looked lost, no clue, and just plain downright embarrassed, as they should be! Miles makes big bucks to be a coach to this team, they should have come out in the second half like they have been all season long ready to murder Alabama. And all of you clowns bringing up Hebert's past to try to knock him are assholes. Miles needed to hear that because people are getting tired of him squandering the great talent LSU has, if USC had this kind of talent and they will next season they would have blown Alabama out!
