He didn't dive. Dempsey dives right there, Donovan doesn't. The defender clipped his heels then stepped on his calf.

FYI, Everton jerseys are discounted, with free "Donovan 9" printing through tomorrow morning, on the Everton website. ($11 shipping to the US)
Home jerseys are $60ish delivered, third jersey is $50ish (mine was $48.02) delivered, and the away shirt is $40ish, which is a RIDICULOUS price.
Le Coq Sportif jerseys are pretty similar in size to adidas jerseys FWIW. Maybe a hair larger, but not by much.

It seemed like Ricketts touched Donovan's heel in the replay.
