Has anyone heard about another station picking up any of the programs on "The Score?

It is now a German station
This has been discussed already on TD since 1/1.

damn if all of you who posted about 1210 actually listened to the shows maybe they would still be on

If you say so. Truth is most of them sucked but they did mostly talk LSU

Sorry guys! I listen everyday from work and on the way home and this is the first I'm learning about it. Not a nice way to begin the new year for me.

For some people this is their first day back at work since then. So it is likely their first time to try to listen to 1210 and also the first time they have gotten on the board since then.
No need to be a dick. Not everyone gets on the board every day.

So true! But I for one will miss it! More BS from the fine folks at Clear Chanel!

Yeah, search doesn't work well on here anymore either. If it's not stickied or within two pages when I log it then I usually don't see it.

I tried the search before I even posted because I knew the smarta**es would pounce on me but I had to find out what happened. Thanks to all who understand!

I posted a thread yesterday about this and it got whacked. I still don't know what's up with 1210? So no more jordy? No more buddy?
Posted on 1/3/12 at 10:36 am to Jimbeaux28
Legitimate question. I stream it everyday while at my computer. I will miss it.

People like to be critical of the shows on 1210, but those same people are going to be bitching when we have little if any local programming throughout the day.
Don't get me wrong, some of the national shows are good (SVP), but it would definitely suck if we didn't have much local programming. I can only listen to Packers/Cowboys/NBA/MLB talk so much until I puke. I speak for over 50% of the people in Baton Rouge: I prefer LSU talk the vast majority of the time.
We have been fortunate to have all-day local programming on 1210 up to now.
All that said, i fully expect Jordy/Ott/Buddy/Condon to resurface on another station...too many people listen to them for them to not get a slot somewhere.

So, does anyone have any insight on what happened and where Ott & Songy may resurface?

Ott was alleged to have a show on the Pelican from 10-12, but I tried streaming it this morning and it didn't come on. Who knows?
Songy will be on 1590 starting Thursday.

OTT is going to do a show On The Pelican TV station. Not sure what time or when. Buddy is starting a new show on 1590 am in Donaldsonville, Which we can't even hear in BR.

Jude since you have recently found out about 1210's format swap I found this.
Clear Channel’s flip of WSKR, Denham Springs, LA (1210) was reported on New Year’s Day on the Louisiana Board of Radio-Info.com. The new gospel format is named “Hallelujah 1210.” The local WAFB television says sports talkers such as Jordy Hultberg, Jimmy Ott, Tommy Krysan and Richard Condin are gone. So is Buddy Songy, who got a call from management at 10:30am Sunday morning. WAFB says Clear Channel had dropped Clarence Buggs and Scott Innes in October. The exit from all-sports leaves the field to Guaranty Broadcasting’s “104.5 ESPN” WNXX, Jackson, LA. The Louisiana Board of Radio-Info.com is discussing the change.
