Pretty cool looking camp house for under $2,000

I have been thinking about something like this. Looks easy enough to build, thoughts?

You need to check out mother earth news, tons of stuff like this, and plans.

One dude did the whole exterior of his house with rail road cross ties. He only needed to purchase the mortar. The RR Co. gave him the cross ties, he just needed to move them.

I pretty much building the same things but to a smaller scale for my kids play house. Few years working framing houses come in pretty handy

I've seen some shipping containers down in venice, problem is finding land to put something on

Yeah, I stayed in a Yurt in the backcountry once. It was pretty impressive. Its fully portable, and the round design has the most room. They are like teepee's with straight walls. Teepee's are kind of awesome too. My buddy bought one, and put on the back of his 40 acres. He built a campground there for his kids to go out there and spend the night.

You ncan buy a big azz fema trailer over 30' long that's like brand new and furnished with beds appliances stove A/C etc etc for around $4k.
