Jefferson/Tebow comparison thread

Jefferson has been compared to various QB's on this forum, but it came to me that his closest comparison has got to be Tebow. Both are big strong QB's that can run over LB's and DB's. Both throwing motion has been knocked, although Jefferson is probably a little more accurate and with a stronger arm. Tebow got more recognition in his college career, (perhaps his ties to Jesus helped his popularity. I'm sure JJ loves Jesus also, he just isn't as public about it. Jefferson was also scorned by his people, the fans, as was Jesus scorned and betrayed. Jeffersons story of redemption and a figurtive rebirth more closely follows Jesus litteral path than did Tebows) but both are great leaders and just flat out winners.

Did you really jump from comparing JJ to Tebow to comparing JJ to Jesus???

this is some really awesome stuff
btw, I like my Jake Locker - JJ comparison better. haven't broken down Jake and Jesus yet though.

Tebow didn't hold the ball for 15 minutes and take sacks.

Dude. I love JJ, but Tebow is one of the top 5 college QBs of all time.
Stop.
ETA: And Tebow was worshipped in Gainseville and nationally.

Just retarded! Watch the tv tomorrow. You will see Tebow playing football. After the BCSNC game you will not see Jefferson again. Not on the same level or style as a runner or talent or personality/character. They aren't alike in any way!

yeah and JJ won two national championships, almost played for a third. JJ also won the Heisman his second year, and was in the discussion for more.
yeah they compare nicely.
your comparing one of the best college football players ever to an average QB who can sometimes play slightly above average at best and has also played a good bit below average at times.

I'm calling bull shite on this. They are more alike than you give them credit for. Running syles are identical for one thing. Jefferson runs just as hard and over people as did Tebow.

That's silly. Everyone knows Jesus was white.

Willie, you should RA this thread. There's no point in comparing JJ to Tebow. JJ is strong and fast and has a lot of heart, but he and Tebow are not (I repeat) not comparable. Who knows what could happen with proper coaching, but Tebow was the most exciting CFB player I'd ever seen until Cam came along.

An late season entry for a Droppie award in the stupidest post of the year category. And that is some rarefied air. Congratulations. I'm certain that some village is missing you-shouldn't you get back?

Opinions are like assholes, everybody's got one. In this case the opinion is one of the most retarded things I've read on the internet!

people like to forget that Jefferson posted some of the highest squat and power clean numbers on the team. He is one of the strongest players on the team and certainly the strongest QB in the SEC.
