Florida fans should be more upset that he didn't leave the 1st time he quit. He basically quit anyway and most UF fans were happy to see him go.

OSU fans should obviously be excited but I think the sanction/NCAA stuff has i made it more exciting than it actually is. He's a very good to great coach but really is he better than Tressell? I don't think so. As dirty as Tressell appears to have been,Meyer is at least as bad and probably more. I guess OSU fans think kids from Ohio are immune to breaking the law. Over 30 arrests at UF and multiple other non arrestable offenses will not sit well with the NCAA if they start happening at OSU as well given the way they fell about OSU at this point. OSU will be back to their rightful place at the top of the Big 10 but Michigan is rising fast and OSU isn't any closer to winning the national title with Meyer as they were with Tressell. The athletes will still be the same and the coaching no better and possibly worse with more competition in the Big Ten now. It will be interesting to watch. I think Meyer is the best hire that could've been made but I do think it's being overrated by ESPN and OSU fans.
