Bridgewater has A LOT of ground to make up if he wants to go to Arizona. Sean Miller is recruiting as good as anyone in the country right now. Unless he completely strikes out next year, 3-star recruits probably won't even get asked to visit. Even Gathers was a backup recruit for them.

He has been offered by arizona.

No he doesn't. Just because some website says he has an offer, doesn't make it so. I'm not saying he won't get an offer, but he is way down their list.

I don't know. I don't think it is a given that he is a major college prospect. He appears to be, but I'm sure he is still being evaluated. I don't think he has an offer yet. You never know with Euro players. They can also go pro immediately over there.

Oh i thought you were just adding people you knew had an offer.

he could already have gone pro overseas if he wanted to go that route. JMO

No, I am compiling a list of players that LSU is recruiting. They don't all have offers, especially the 2013 list. Some do.

Taylor is only 16.

I know. What I mean is that I don't think he is good enough yet or completely developed. Also, since his dad is American and played at LSU, I hope he wants him to play college basketball.

Would be pretty cool. May give them an opportunity to move back home.

I would love to get DT's kid.

I read today where Grant has been in recently to see Jerrell Martin and that Martin will be visiting Alabama sometime this month.

You guys have got to be very disappointed in Grant's recruiting thus far. Besides Releford and a few local kids, he has really sucked as far as recruiting is concerned. If ya'll miss the tournament this year, that will be three straight. Is it time for alarms?

This is not a flame, I am genuinely interested in your perspective, because I would be worried.

And yes, I know, we suck.

When he got hired, the only thing he could really do was bring in Eblen from VCU. Eblen is serviceable at best so that was a bad year. So what I consider his first real class, he signed two guys that have already transferred, Releford who is a stud for us most of the time, and Hankerson who is starting to play like many of us had hoped he would. That may turn out to be an underrated signing if he keeps playing well. Engstrom sucks, but maybe he will turn it around. Last year was a great year for him to recruit. He was able to keep our three local guys home, go get Moussa from a junior college and I think Moussa will be a decent player once he fully recovers from tearing his ACL injury, and he got Jacobs from Georgia. Jacobs has played really well for us most of the year. We also signed Obasohan from Belgium, but he's redshirting this year so time will tell if that was a good signee or not. This year hasn't been a good year for us recruiting wise. We missed out on Marcus Hunt and Willie Cauley who I feel were our top two targets besides Pollard. Pollard will probably go to MSU so I just hope we can get an okay JUCO big to provide energy and minutes next season. 2013 is the class he needs to make a splash in just like the 2011 class. I think that 2013 class will be almost as highly ranked as the 2011 one.

I'd definitely be disappointed in missing the tournament this year, but I think we make it. We've had a cancer on the team this year, so it'll be nice to see how we keep playing without him. I think Grant has done a good job. We exceeded expectations last year and winning 12 games in the SEC is impressive even in a down year. This year we haven't lived up to the hype and that's a bit disappointing, but I still have all the faith in the world in Grant.

Like I stated well above, I think he's done a good job recruiting. The one thing he's lacked in a class is a dominant big man. It'd really be beneficial to find a great player like Green. Jacobs probably won't ever put up the numbers Green does until he fine tunes his shot. That's the only area I'd like for us to improve our recruiting in.

I've seen his name in the Rivals database, but that's it. Don't know anything about him.
