My sources tell me Saban. And NO, I'm not revealing my sources!

You would be a fool to believe that Sumlin is not a hot commodity. I don't talk to many familiar with the Big 12 conference that aren't impressed with his coaching ability. However, I feel like Sumlin's next job will be in the SEC West....at A&M. sherman has one more year and they make a change.

I'm not sure I understand.
They are all candidates that anyone would want.
Nobody in their right mind would turn down the Texas job.
Please explain.

I dont get the sense they are on Texas' radar

my point is that I dont think any coach is really on their radar right now. They're not discussing this issue very heavily, and are not expected to really begin to until next year

I think Mack is in trouble if he finishes this season 6-6, and has another mediocre season next year.

Mack brings in too much money. I think he stays as long as they make bowl games and becomes AD in three years.

If Mack doesn't step down until 2013, it is probably someone not on the radar right now. It will be the current hot name like Urban Meyer was circa 2004.

Likely this.

Mack will decide when he leaves.

I do think he hates the LHN and everything that has come from it. Of course he's towing the company line but perhaps he's getting fed up with that and the soon-to-be short memories of Texas power brokers re: 6-6 seasons.

The AD has made good hires consistently in all programs and would expect nothing short of a great fit for the footballers.
