I simply reported what I was told. I've been 100% honest with everything I've said. Hopefully I have been told the truth, but I'll still post whatever info comes my way.

It's been said for the last 3 weeks that he gave a silent to Bama the weekend of our game. Would seem to correlate with the "we" reference. Still people on our side say he is starting to come our way some. I think he's headed elsewhere.

Spoke with his father yesterday and got some pretty good incite. We have gained alot of ground with him recently. It's down to LSU, Bama, and Stanford. According to his Dad, Stanford is way too far away. Devall is still high on Bama. He went to an LSU camp when Saban was here a while back and has always wanted to play for him since then. Miles and Devall talked for over an hour the other night and his Dad said Denzel and Miles were laughing the whole time. They were most impressed with Chavis though. His father had a lot of great things to say about JC. His father wants him to choose LSU. He wants to keep him in state and let TOPS pay for his education. He said that we have closed a pretty large gap recently. Just wanted to let u gurus know

You guys will say anything .......We are gonna win by ten , we want to play yall again ,we sont secretly miss Saban,we were the better team the 1st time .........Haha

Miles is 3-2 vs Saban. Beat him last year when bama had 4 1st round picks and a Heisman winner, and this years Heisman winner.

9-6 this year? You can have this LB, yall always have better LB's anyway.

When miles becomes 4-2 vs Saban you can have this moral vicotry

Did we go to elem school together? You just remind me of a little bitch-arse punk who needed three arse whippings before he learned to respect his betters.

Typical gump.

I know I may catch heat, but frick devall. You grow up in LA and go to Bama, you can GFY. Saban will turn him into another one of his slow LBs. I know I know I'm butthurt and mad right? Guess he's already thinkin NFL and doesn't mind playing on a swaggerless defense. We will beat that arse 3 of the next 4 years anyway, I hope he has fun.

Bet you said same thing before LSU won in YOUR place 11/5. Bet you said the same thing last year before LSU won. Bet you say pretty much same thing before every game. You guys are funny how you believe every Bama game is gonna be a win, no question.

It's funny. Bama has never lost a game. They either were cheated by officials, had a moral victory (from the probation days ), or the time honored "we were the better team." Did I forget any excuses?

LSU is an opportunistic team. They won at BDS simply because they sat back and waited on our mistakes and let the game come to them.

bama can have the darrington sentimores, luther davis', robbie green's, and denzel devall's in the state, PRINT THE T-SHIRTS, we'll keep the Eric Reids, HB7's, Anthony Johnson's and Landon Collins'.

The thing here is that Devall is not originally from LA. He was much more likely not to have LSU ties as I think he is really from Memphis. Throw in the new Bastrop coach and his original statements that he was looking for a 3-4 and LSU really wasn't a fit even if he would have grown up a fan. Despite what their delusional fans will say, Alabama isn't going to take very many LA kids. Most of the ones they have taken either were not offered or turned out to be minimal contributors.

Great way to start off the morning. La finally produces a couple good LBs and the team with the most depth at LB in the fricking country jacks one away.

He's certainly a better fit in their defense though.

If he truly wants to play for Saban, he should commit to UTexas where NS will be coaching next year!

Saban and UT just waiting until after NC game to make announcements. Similar to how Saban waited until after Cap One Bowl against Iowa.

Well stated. There are several factors here. Devall projects naturally at DE in our scheme and wanted to play LB. Being from Memphis, he lacked that Louisiana pride that most kids from here possess. If he lacks that pride, let him go. He's Tigerbait now.

Scout ran a story that since Les Miles arrived, LSU has signed 90% of in state prospects that were evaluated, then received an offer. This year, we are now 15/16 in that category with 2 guys left. I will take those odds in state.

to me losing devall not really a big deal. we lose one every year. think robinson last year and reed the year before last. I would MUCH rather have gotten robinson than devall.

Look the guy was never coming to LSU...he knew he didn't fit in our system, and he was from Memphis. He never led us on, heck he had A&M, Bama as his top 2. Debo was our MLB offer, and that, with Sherman out, left Bama as the only player left in his favorites. Hate to say it, but it looks like LSU moved on from him, last week. Hate to lose recruits to a Division rival, but this one is not only stomachable, but expected.

Well said. I don't think he was ever ours. Bama was always the main player in this fight.

Yep. As soon as we got Debo, I knew that meant no Devall. Oh well.
