Love my SBEII... I would recommend it to anyone.

I have a SBE 2 and the new super Vinci.
Haven't hunted the Super Vinci except for a poor dove shoot. I'll be ready to put it through its paces this year.
I've never had a single malfunction on the SBE 2 and the includes dropping it in the AR gumbo mud and also having a half inch of ice on the gun.
I would recommend one to anyone, but you said that the Maxus fits you well. That is probably the biggest factor with shotguns.
I will say that I worked on both my Benelli's to get them to fit properly with the shims they provide.
