Comin to NO from BR today, want sausage for a gumbo

Where should I stop for something I cannot find around BR?

Lookin for a different sausage from my normal stops between Laffy/br

Jacob's is great. You could also stop at Cochon Butcher or Crescent Pie and Sausage Company in the city.

I would suggest you get some from Jacobs and some from Baileys next door and REALLY have fun!!!

Try Bailey's in LaPlace as well. It is just down the street from Jacob's. Stock up from both stores and decide for yourself which froducts from which store you prefer. Andouille, Tasso, Smoked-Hot Sausage, and Hoghead are musts from both IMVHO.

Picked up 1/2 lb andouille and lb of boudin from Couchons Butcher.... And 1/2 lb andouille, 1 lb beef sausage and 1 lb chickn sausage from Jacobs.

Winners.

Wanted some hoghead and hocks....but would b eatim it alone at my house
