What happens IF Stanford beats Oregon and OSU beats Oklahoma?? That's the more fun debate to blow up the BCS. Its what I hope happens!

Then you have (all undefeated):

1 - LSU
2 - OSU
3 - Stanford
4 - Boise
5 - Houston (ETA for giggles)

I know it'd be LSU vs OSU, but Stanford outcry would be huge. at Pac 12 being left out after creating the Conf Champ Game and have its team run the table.

LSU will slaughter any team not named Alabama.

I don't want to play Bama again. Not because I'm afraid or that I think we'll lose (I don't) but I don't think they earned it.
If they had beaten us, then they'd deserve it. They didn't. They were favored and lost at home to a team which was a little better. There are no rematches in championship games. Plain and simple.

Stanford will be delighted to get invited to the Rose Bowl.

And they will be favored vs the Big Ten team.

Its a small private school that does not travel well. New Orleans will be happy to have Ok State if your scenario pans out.

I doubt either Stanford or Ok State wins out though.

Boise vs LSU? Bama again?

Both of these would be tragedies for all of college football.

if both okie state and stanford win out, it looks like stanford can get lucky as long as they win their bowl and play the what if card, while poor okie state gets to be slaughtered in new orleans.

okie state winning out is the best thing for stanford

Agree!

But does it cause any playoff talk or tweaks in the BCS?

Damn well should. It's absurd.

don't forget Houston undefeated...if Boise gets to cry every season then Houston can too.

They were literally talking about the possibility that Houston gets to the National Championship on ESPN Radio here last week. One guy was smart enough to say there is a 0%chance that they make it. 2 one loss teams would go before an undefeated Houston. Maybe Houston and Boise can play each other as undefeated bums

1. Okl State (if they win out)
2. Stanford (if okl state loses and they win out)
3. Oklahoma (if both Okl State and Stanford lose and they win out)
4. Boise State and Bama would be next in line.
