I was referring to Hodson. I don't even know that Bert did it twice, although he may have.

Also because Jones was platooned with another QB. Coach Mac was gunshy over losing his starting QB with no experienced backup several years before.
Someone once said about the situation, "only Coach Mac could take an All-American and turn him into All-SEC."
