Has Jefferson apologized to his teammates?

Sorry if this is Germans, but I haven't seen any mention of whether or not Jefferson "manned up" and apologized to his team for his actions.
Yes, I know he's "just a kid" and that he made a mistake. And, yes, the booing that occurred on Saturday was unnecessary.
But, damn, he's NOT the victim here, and it sure seems like he's wearing that badge.
Seems to me he should have - if he hasn't already - apologized to his teammates for his actions bringing negative publicity to the team and the school, REGARDLESS of whether or not he is ever convicted.
Someone replied in one of my other posts about how excited JLee looked to have Jefferson coming in Saturday and in contrast how Jefferson does not seem to share that same mentality, I have to wonder if, were the roles reversed, would JLee have been a stand-up guy. I say yeah.
That is all...flame away.
JLee...

He said he didn't need to because they were there

He said in his interview last night that he didn't have to because they were all there. Most people will view that answer as him being selfish but I think he meant he didn't have to apologize because they were there and know what really happened.

and laughed about it when he was saying it

That's not how it works on the rant. You're not suppose to take anything at face value.

Well...I searched and didn't find that one. My bad.
That said, that's exactly what a "victim" would say. So what is they were there? "They" didn't get arrested and charged with a criminal act.

Or, like I said, they know what really happened on that night unlike just about every poster on this board.

They were referred to (in the initial police report) as a "group of black guys". Do you think the BRPD should have just started rounding up AA's within a mile radius?

I'm sure he didn't and they didn't expect him too. Everyone on the team has probably had his back since day one of this fck job by the BRPD.

Does every apology have to be made public?
Posted on 10/4/11 at 9:20 am to Mindenfan
no. just because someone purchases the right to get drunk and party on Saturday doesn't make them part of the team.

Some of us need it to reinforce our self worth and importance to LSU football. Deal with it.

It really doesn't matter and whether or not he "apologized" to your standards is pretty irreverent and it seems by all accounts the team has his back.
It's always amusing how outsiders seem to know best how a one should act in a group dynamic that they know nothing about--be it LSU football, a family, a work situation.

When you want to be a leader, yes.
